Across the country, individuals are cooking up storms in home kitchens, batch prepping meals for them and friends or the needy. Community groups are finding ingenious solutions for helping others during the Covid-19 outbreak – very often, through food. In this program, we will learn some of our best dishes for home. Want to discover different flavours at home? Join with our classes featuring a span of Asian cuisines from Japan to Vietnam. You’ll learn the fundamental cooking skills tied to each of these unique Asian cultures. You’ll gain access to new recipes, tutorials and lessons ranging from shopping tips, through knife skills, nutritional tips and unique cooking methods.

THE MENUS
- Have you tried online cooking classes yet? These 1.5-2 hour classes are designed for you to cook a meal at home with virtual hands-on through Zoom with an expert chef from your home kitchen. You will get the recipes and notes before classes. The ingredients have been simplified so you can shop and cook with us with confidence. Join us on Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, Dumpling
ON THE DAY LIVE STREAM
- This online Zoom class lasts for 1 to 2 hours
- An expert chef will demonstrate the dumpling-making steps
- You will learn how to make and fold your favourite dumplings
- Tips and tricks to master dumplings at home.
- Steam or pan-fry dumplings
- In rare situations, we may have to restart the online class. We will send announcements so you can reconnect!
HOW WE RUN THE CLASS?
- Learning by doing! You can start cooking at your own pace before and after actual zoom class because we email you ingredient list, recipes and video.
- We will answer your question pre and post-class by emailing us. If you made the recipes, you would have more questions for us. We hope this is one of your favourite dishes for some time!
- We recommend you to watch the pre-recorded the video below to understand the recipes before you start making and cooking. We know it might be not easy to find ingredients. It is better to build up the pantry slowly. We developed our recipes in the way that you can shop at your local supermarkets.
- We will send you details for your Live Cooking Demonstration on ZOOM.
- In this online cooking class, you are welcome to BYO your wine and beer. However, for safety, please focus on cooking, and you can drink with the meal later.
- We recommend for you to measure and put all the ingredients on a dish/tray to be ready to cook. This way, you can enjoy yourself while connecting to others. If you tell us about your dietary requirement, we can suggest some substitute ideas. We will do our best to help you to cook the dishes on the menu.

CAN MY CHILDREN JOIN?
- Children who are attending online cooking classes must be participating with a parent or guardian.
- Because of the difficulty of the course material, we recommend this program for children ten years old or older.
