Team Cooking For Community Meals
- Kesto: 3 Tunnit (noin)
- Paikka: Abbotsford, VIC
The community meal cooking party is an exciting social program that will bring out the very best in your group. Put everyone’s culinary skills, creativity, and teamwork to the test as they work together to plan and cook a delicious multi-course meal — all for a great cause.
To top it off, once the meal is cooked up you can donate it at the end of the event to support a worthy charity. It’s an opportunity for your company or organisation to show its commitment to corporate social responsibility while also building effective leadership skills like project management, planning, role delegation, resourcefulness and time management.
On top of that, your employees will feel proud being part of something much larger than themselves as they come together to help those less fortunate. With Charity Chef Challenge with Family Cooking you get a great experience bonding on meaningful level and a amazing chance to share kindness with those who need it most!
Companies with a strong and genuine CSR policy boast more engaged employees with increased retention, passion and creativity.
Food will go to Belgium Avenue Neighbourhood House (BANH Inc.), a local charity operates neighbourhood houses on the Collingwood and North Richmond public housing estates. The food you make will be their next community meal. Each of your guests will be expected to make about 6 meals feeding a family.

ON THE DAY
- We begin with a complimentary refresher while guests are arriving. Next, we prep for 1 hour. Then we together cook all the dishes. Finally, you and your guests can enjoy new flavors, exotic ingredients, cooking, drinking, eating and sharing your creations around a large kitchen table.
- The experience will be for 3 hours so you might cook two or three rounds. We will set the kitchen up according to the menu of the country you choose. Working in teams up to 2-3 people, you will be making 2-3 dishes from scratch and possibly another dish or two for you to eat. Each team will finish and present the dish in takeaway containers so they can be transported to the client's venue.
- We can include a competitive or relaxed style of cooking in this 3-hour class. Each group will make enough food to feed 15-20 meals.
- Pre and Post party venue – The National Hotel, located in Richmond’s bustling Victoria Street, is a place for locals and far-flung travellers to come together in a community-minded space, where the staff is always proud to serve and the atmosphere is heady with good vibes. http://thenationalhotel.com.au/
