Designed for both novices and seasoned cooks, these sessions provide a professional yet approachable way to master the art of Asian cooking. During the class, participants will be guided step-by-step by expert chefs, ensuring that each dish crafted is both authentic and delectable.

ON THE DAY
- This hands-on experience lasts for 2 to 2.5 hours

- Prepare and cook a varied menu, utilising a wide range of techniques along the way
- Explore the creation of popular street food dishes
- Work either by yourself or with a partner
- Finish the class by tasting all of your creations with a glass of wine or beer
THE MENU
Each month, our class menu rotates through a selection of diverse and inspiring dishes from various Asian cuisines. Here's a sneak peek at the delectable offerings:
- Vietnamese Delights (Jan, May, Sep): Cha Gio (Vietnamese Spring Rolls), Bo La Lot (Lemongrass Beef Wrapped in Betel Leaves), and a flavourful Dipping Sauce.
- Thai Treats (Feb, Jun, Oct): Nam Tok Neua ('Waterfall' Beef or Prawn Salad) and Tom Kha (Yello Fragrant Chicken and Coconut Soup).
- Japanese Creations (Mar, Jul, Nov): Temaki or Makizushi (Sushi Handrolls with Seasonal Fish and Vegetables), Okonomiyaki (Cabbage and Pork Pancakes), and Miso Shiru (Soup with a selection of toppings).
- Chinese Dumplings (Apr, Aug, Dec): Fried Dumplings with a Black Vinegar and Chilli Sauce.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- This pop up class can be booked one class for the month or book all classes over months. The price is per class per person.
- Otao Kitchen cooking classes are perfect for your work Christmas party, birthday party, anniversary, hens party, Bucks Party, Team Building Cooking, Work lunch and dinner or Corporate event. We can cater to different dietary requirements - please let us know by email hello@otaoktichen.com
- If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking you will need to email hello@otaokitchen.com. You must do this at least 14 days before your class to cancel or reschedule. We are sorry that we cannot refund or rebook any cancellations made online or in-person after this time.
- In the event that you are unwell, we ask that you send someone in your place. The participants who are not unwell will still be expected to attend. Alternatively, if you provide notice prior to the class, you might collect the ingredients and online recipe to take home with you after the class. Please note that this may not be possible as fresh meats and seafood in all cases and you should contact us to check with the chef team. This cannot be organised via email.
- Lateness: please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of the class. We cannot accommodate or refund for those who arrive after the scheduled start time, even if you call ahead. The instructor will be expected to start on time and will not be able to repeat the health and safety and/or demonstrations at the beginning of the class.
